Record Speed Trains in China

China has just broke the record of the world's fastest trains in commercial railroad grade conventional unmodified (unmodified commercial conventional train).

According to Chinese news agency Xinhua quoted from Physorg site, train-owned China Railway High-Speed (CRH) was successfully carve out a record speed of 302 miles per hour, aka 486 kilometers per hour (kph), during a trial through the Beijing-Shanghai route, on Friday, December 3, 2010.

Xinhua claimed was the highest speed for a conventional commercial trains that are not modified.

However, this CRH train speed can not exceed the speed of other trains in the classroom modifications, namely the French TGV train (574.8 kph) and train Japanese-owned (581 kph).

The train had reached its highest velocity as it passes on Beijing-Shanghai route segment of 1318 kilometers, the area between the city of Zaozhuang in Shandong Province, with the city of Bengbu in Anhui Province.

New route will be opened in 2012 and planned to condense the time required to travel between Beijing-Shanghai to be just five hours.

The project is a massive project the Chinese government to link the cities in China and cost about U.S. $ 32.5 billion, or about Rp292, 8 trillion.

China now has a high-speed railway network in the world's longest. The country also plans to create a network of trains along the 13 thousand km in 2012, and over 16 thousand km in 2020.
