Watch out, Shark Invasion Golf Course

Water hazard is a common term on the golf course. However, one water hazard that is different from the others. At Carbrook Golf Club, Brisbane, Australia, there are six adult sharks that inhabit an artificial lake on the golf course.
 
  According to officials sharks are stranded there due to a major flood that hit the area around Brisbane, a few years ago. Since then, the fish along the 2.5 to 3 meters that feed the fish that were there. They also occasionally eat chicken or meat that is thrown by the staff of the golf course.

Before the presence of the fish, the children of local residents often seek additional money by plunge diving into the lake and pick up golf balls that go into. "It seems they will not do so in the near future," said one of the staff.

In one incident, when he was fishing, Charles Wickers, had been attacked by a bull shark, sharks that inhabit the lake. Fortunately, he was not seriously injured.

"We are grateful Wickersham will soon recover," says Ashley Byrne, a spokeswoman for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA). "But now the right time to show that sharks are not the most dangerous predators on the planet, but we, humans," he said.

Byrne said, it hoped that after the cases of shark attacks, people would consider to restore the animals to their natural habitat.
